Princess Walk

The Princess Walk & Road area in Dyce is currently undergoing a play park improvement scheme funded through Aberdeen Forward. As part of the project Arts Development is currently working with local youngsters from both Dyce Primary and Dyce Academy, alongside the Countryside Rangers, to create two colourful interpretations of the local environment around Dyce. These will be installed professionally on the floor of each site.

Countryside Ranger Stephen Bly took a group of young people from Dyce on a Don riverwalk at the beginning of the project last Saturday. The young folk
will use the things they learnt & natural objects they collected & photographed during their riverwalk as source material & inspiration for
drawings which will contribute towards the design of a colouful street art
mural for the park spaces being redeveloped. Drawing & design workshops are happening over the summer holidays, with on site painting happening at the end of July…watch this space!
