Gadget Art as part of the Big Picnic

As part of the Big Picnic, Saturday 19 th November, Arts Development led Gadget-art workshops. In the morning we worked with young people to create their own fun and unique moving robot drawing devices. The young people involved came up with some fantastic ideas and final working prototypes. In the afternoon we worked with families, encouraging them to work together to design and construct their own drawing tools, this included items to be worn and held. This was great fun and brought ideas and families together to create and try out each others inventions.
